Howdy and welcome to my website!

For those of you who are like me and enjoy keeping up with family and friends, here's my website created just for that reason. I'll try to keep you updated on What's Up With Mala.

You can now purchase your own copy of It's Motherhood…What'd You Expect? Four years in the making, this little book of off-the-wall poems about being a new mom is now available through Trafford Publishing and StarRider Press. This has been an enormously fun project. When Nicolas, now five, was about a year old, I started writing goofy poems (mostly for my own therapy) about the experience of being a new mom. And let me tell you, starting momhood at age 40 is definitely something worth writing about! If nothing else, get a copy just to look at the cool illustrations by local artist, Cody Blair. If you don't bust out laughing looking at some of his drawings, I'll give you your money back.
